Marine
Engines
Ironman is
experienced in the remanufacturing of
Marine Diesel Engines. They have supplied
engines for military, commercial and leisure
applications. Ironman can supply Detroit
Diesel, Cummins, Caterpilar and Perkins
Marine Engines. The raw water systems
on all marine engines are completely rebuilt.
All systems are pressure tested and engines
are dyno tested to give complete customer
satisfaction. Ironman can also supply
rebuilt marine transmissions and generators
from 6 to 60KW.
Cooling
Systems
Ironman is
the West Coast distributor for Bowman
cooling systems. Bowman produces a wide
range of high quality cooling systems
that can be used for both engine and transmission
cooling applications. Bowman has been
manufacturing oil coolers, header tank/heat
exchangers and marine exhaust manifolds
for over 70 years and has a vast amount
of experience in this field. The removable
tube stacks in their coolers are made
from cupra nickel to resist the harsh
corrosive marine environment. These tube
stacks are floating, held in place by
O rings and can readily be removed for
cleaning or replacement purposes.
